We welcome Ryan Wallen from 247 Sports Owls Daily, covering Temple Athletics, to start our American Athletic Conference Preview. We get into what went wrong — and what went right — over the last few years at Temple and what the program can do to improve on last year’s 3-9 record.
Then it’s Transfer Portal time! We talk Portal rankings and tell you who we’re watching and why heading into summer camp.
We close with a brief discussion of Week 0 and Week 1 games.
Friends, the season will be here before you know it. Get spun up now, so you’ll be ready when the teams hit camp.
We’ve got a monster show this week, friends!
We tell you what to expect from Army Football’s Spring Game, run through some of the other spring games in college football’s Power 4, talk college basketball and the Final Four, and then wonder if Caitlin Clark can be the WNBA’s Tiger Woods.
Then we’re on to Army-Navy Week!
Army Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse both play Navy this Saturday. We break down both teams seasons to date and tell you what to watch for in Saturday’s Star Games.
Then: Can the UFL survive?
We then close out the show with a discussion of Army Baseball and briefly talk about Baseball’s Star Series as well.
Don’t miss this one!
Go Army! Beat Navy!!!
Dartmouth Men’s Basketball has voted to unionize, Arch Manning has opted OUT of the new NCAA video game, and Livvy Dunne is the highest paid female athlete on planet Earth.
What is going on?!
We talk about it all this week and wonder if anyone can rein it in. Plus, Army Lacrosse is #1!
Michigan wins the Natty, and it looks like the Coaching Carousel is about to take another turn. Dan and Rob break it all down for you and close out a great season of college football.
There are a ton of college football bowl games but just four teams still playing for a championship.
This week: it’s the second-to-last episode of the season! We talk about the games we’ve watched and the impact that the portal and coaching carousel have had on bowl season.
Then we’re on to the Playoff.
Can Michigan get over the hump against Bama? Is Texas truly back? We go deep and tell you what to watch in next week’s College Football Playoff contests.
It’s all over but the cryin’!
The College Football Committee has made their choices, and both Florida State and Georgia got left on the outside looking in. The Committee said the SEC Champion would make the playoff, and that seems to be the only thing that they mentioned during the week that actually held true.
This week: Dan and Rob talk through the championship games, wonder what the Dawgs were thinking putting two spies on Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, and discuss Liberty’s chances against Oregon in a New Year’s Six Bowl.
Then we give the mic to Rob Robinson. Rob’s been with us at As For Football for years now. We finally give him a chance to tell his story.
Finally, who’s winning the Heisman?
It’s BEAT NAVY Week, friends. Get hyped!
Go Army! Beat Navy!!!
It’s Championship Weekend!
Rivalry Weekend was wild, friends. We’ve seen a great season of wins and losses, capped in epic fashion by The Game and the Iron Bowl. We saw Michigan take their future into their own hands, Auburn give everything against Bama, and Washington QB Michael Pinex, Jr. show up BIG in a much tighter than expected Apple Cup. Plus, Iowa somehow keeps winning by three or fewer points.
But who’s going to make it into the Playoff?
This week: Dan and Rob tell you what caught their this past weekend, run through the service academy highlights, and wonder what future rivalries might have in a post-conference world. Then the guys run through this week’s championship games and give you their picks.
We’re in for a great finish to college football season. Get your self a seat at the Roundtable and buckle in.
Week 13 is upon us. We have the Iron Bowl, the Egg Bowl and The Game this week.
Week 12 saw Pitt upset Boston College, Air Force drop its third game in a row, and JMU get bounced from the unbeatens by, you guessed it, App State. Plus: now who’s the worst coach in LA?
Then: we fire up the Coaching Carousel! Which coaches are on the hotseat after this season, and who deserves a second chance.
As always, we run through the service academy results, talk about the AP Top 10, preview this week’s games, and finish with our patented Locks of the Week.
Fun show this week, friends. Happy Thanksgiving!
