Get to Know Me
Born in Virginia. Raised in North Jersey. My father went to that dirty institution on the Severn, so like Coach Monken, I was brought to the light.
At the Academy, I was in WKDT where I started a weekly radio show called Brigade Review. As I was excused from drilling to do things like the show, I felt naming it after a full, four-regiment parade was fitting. The show started out tiny, but we found our niche updating mostly grads and parents on the less followed Army Sports.
I was a play-by-play announcer for football, basketball and baseball my yearling and cow years, but as a firstie, I decided to have fun in the stands with my classmates.
After I graduated, I offered the show to the younger cadets, but no one seemed interested. So I turned it into my unsolicited opinions page. I still don’t know why people follow, but hey, I always love to interact with grads, cadets, parents and other Army fans in the twitterverse, so I won’t complain. I was also a Spiritivities Officer, so I’m always down for a good tailgate too.

Favorite Mess Hall Meal: Chili in a Bread Bowl (with the tomato sauce, don’t bring that weak white chili stuff in here)
Favorite Memory: Watching the Midshipmen on the final play of the 2017 Army-Navy Game. They all thought the field goal was good. We couldn’t see. But once we all saw the refs signal, they went from elated (I believe some started to rush the field) to despair in a matter of milliseconds. Beat Navy.
